Schezuan Sauce is very spicy sauce and common whenever you prepare any chinese dishes including noodles or any vegetable recipes. The recipe is quite simple and quick and the ingredients are also easily available in your kitchen. Though it is readily available in market, you can use your home made schezwan sauce whenever required without worrying about unnecessary added chemicals to preserve or enhance flavors.
This sauce can be also served as condiment with french fries, potato wedges , rolls, momos , even with pakodas.
So let’s see how to make this easy schezwan sauce.
Yields: 1/2 Cup
- 15-20 red chilies deseeded, deveined
- 1/4 cup lukewarm oil(you can warm it in Microwaveabout a minute.)
- 5-6 cloves of Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon Vinegar
- Salt to taste
Soak Chillies in oil for 4-6 hours.
Grind all the above ingredients to coarse paste.
Store in the airtight container and refrigerate.
Use your schezwan sauce whenever required.
