If you are health freak, Mango Smoothie is one of the healthy smoothie choice which has all the necessary nutrients.
Most of the time I keep thinking how to make my son eat healthy meal . Whether it is breakfast, lunch , dinner or mid day snack. So have to come up with some fancy ideas. Breakfast is most important and I make sure that he keeps up with it. Other then Mangoes, he doesn’t each much of the fruits . So I did a trick this time. Thought of giving him all the necessary nutrients in a glass of fruit smoothie.
I have tried out different healthy smoothies earlier and they really turn out tasty. You don’t have to add any extra sugar, instead substitute with raisins or dates. Even without dates they taste good. In my recipe, I have replaced dairy with almond milk , so that it gets vegan touch and sugar with dates .
One glass of this simple and healthy smoothie makes you full and active throughout the day as it has all the necessary nutrients required. Dates are rich in iron, potassium,calcium , magnesium. Flax seeds are high fiber super foods. Almond milk has proteins, Vitamin E and helps reduce blood sugar levels. Try making variations by replacing mango with other fruits. You can also add chia seeds.
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
- 1 1/2 Cup Almond Milk
- 1 Mango
- 1 Teaspoon Flax Seeds
- 4 Dates
- 1 Tablespoon Raisins
Peel and chop the mango.
In a blender add the mango along with other ingredients and almond milk.
Blend it until smooth . You can add ice cubes while grinding. Enjoy this wonderful healthy and tasty Mango smoothie for breakfast or just as a mid-day snack.
