Instant Mushroom Masala or Mushroom ki sabzi is prepared Using Homemade Premix in thick sauce and served with rice or Indian bread.
Homemade premix is number one item in my kitchen list lately and try to use them in most of my cooking which not only gives any recipe restaurant style taste but also helps you impress your family and guests . Plus you can make quick dinners on busy days.
Mushroom ki sabzi or Instant Mushroom masala is one of the easy and tasty recipe served in restaurants. Why I say this is instant because I use my homemade brown gravy premix which I always keep ready , stock it in my refrigerator and use for various gravies. I just have to mix water in it and use for preparing curries.
My son otherwise don’t like mushrooms , but after I prepared Mushroom masala, he was like ‘Wow’. Absolutely impressed. For mushroom masala you can use any mushrooms of your choice, but it tastes very good with button mushrooms. Just make sure they are washed properly and thinly sliced.
Instant Mushroom masala can be served with any Indian bread like roti, naan, kulcha. I prefer to eat it with kulcha. One of my favorite Indian breads.
Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
Cooking Time: 15 -20 Minutes
Serves :4 People
- 140 Grams Brown Gravy Premix (Homemade)
- 1 Cup Water
- 4 Tablespoons Oil
- 200 Grams Any Mushrooms, Thinly sliced
Add water in brown gravy premix and make sure to mix it well so that no lumps are formed.
Heat oil in a pan and on medium heat sauté mushrooms till they are tender. Will take 5-6 minutes.
Add the gravy, mix , cover and Cook for 5-6 minutes .
Once it comes to rolling boil, jus lower the heat and simmer for 5 minutes and remove from heat.
And our Instant Mushroom ki sabzi is ready to be served. If you like, can add some chopped Cilantro(Coriander leaves) for extra flavors. Enjoy with any Indian bread.
