5. Peel them:
Remove the eggs from cold water. You can see the shells are broken into large patches. Start peeling the eggs by applying the force from the thumb. Hold an egg in one hand just by the tips of your fingers. Then use the thumb of the other hand to place a certain amount of pressure on the top. You will see that the shell begins to break from the top.
