Â
After making so many vegetarian and non vegetarian appetizers , I started wondering what to prepare for last weekend . Whenever I prepare any appetizer, I keep in mind that it is oil free or requires very less oil, and can be prepared without any hassle. I always look for easy appetizer ideas which can be also best appetizer for a party. Few days back, I had prepared Chicken wings and prior to that , Indian chicken appetizer, Chicken Tandoori. Both of them were a hit in my house.
Whenever you prepare any chicken recipes, make sure that the chicken is fresh and not refrigerated for long time, unless marination time says , refrigerate overnight . We usually get fresh chicken and cook the same day or the next day.
Last week I wanted to prepare some quick chicken , so bought these chicken breasts . Wanted to make some homemade sauce for it and prepare something in baked style. So gathered, whatever spices I had in my kitchen and prepared these wonderful baked chicken breasts and got finished soon by us.
I first marinated my chicken with spices and then prepared the sauce. Baked the chicken in the oven for about an hour and then drizzled the prepared sauce over it and baked for another minute or two. It was just mind blowing. This is one of the best appetizers for a party. Hi Pooja, I am not a blogger, nor a gourmet chef, just a homemaker who loves trying out new dishes for my family. i love baking savoury dishes like spicy chicken.
I marinate whole chicken legs with yogurt or vinegar/lemon juice. Red chilli powder, turmeric powder, kasoori methi and salt. I marinate the chicken for a minimum of an hour to four hours based on my time space, then I bake in the oven until done. The kasoori methi gives a very good flavour to the chicken and I have been using it in many chicken dishes.
I hope you like it.
Hi Pooja,
Sorry, as you can see I am a newbie at this. I forgot to add ginger garlic paste in my marinade. Cheers
I was looking through some of your blog posts on this site and I think this site is real instructive! Continue posting .
