Shrimp and Spinach Pasta
Shrimp and Spinach Pasta is quite easy and quick. Of course you can do variations to this by adding more of other vegetables like carrots, beans etc. Â
Pasta is a traditional Italian cuisine. Typically, pasta is a noodle made from wheat flour mixed with water or egg , forming various shapes. It is then cooked and served in variety of dishes. Pasta is mostly starch because it is made of flour. It also contains other minerals and vitamins either directly from wheat or from artificial enrichment. You can prepare numerous dishes with various variations suiting your tastebuds. You can add seafood or chicken or vegetables of your choice.
Ingredients:
- 1Â Cup Pasta of your choice(I have used whole wheat Farfalle)
- 200 Grams medium size shrimps(Peeled, washed and deveined)
- 1 Cup chopped spinach
- 1 Onion chopped fine
- 3-4 cloves minced garlic
- 2 Tablespoons of butter
- 1 Teaspoon black pepper powder
- 2 Tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 Tablespoons sriracha sauce(Optional)
- Handful of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 Cup heavy whipping cream
- Salt to taste
Method:
Cook pasta as per instructions on the packet and keep aside. It takes around 10 minutes to cook this pasta.
Heat butter in a pan and add minced garlic.
Saute for few seconds, add onions. Saute till they turn translucent.
Put in  shrimps and cook till they turn pink. This will take 5 minutes.
Sprinkle black pepper and salt.
Add cream cheese and mix. Add shredded cheese, spinach and sriracha sauce.
Cook for a minute till it thickens.
Add cream. Cook for a minute  and add in Pasta.
Cook for another minute and remove from heat.
Serve your healthy prawns spinach pasta hot .
