To prepare this , first of all you have to marinade the drumsticks well, to get the flavor absorbed in well. So it is always better to keep the pieces marinated the previous day and then just bake the next day. But if you are in a hurry, then at least make sure you marinade them for 1 hour.
You can also deep fry these drumsticks if not health conscious, but they taste equally good , baked. Also you can modify the spices according to your taste buds. I like it with more garlic.

- 8-10 Chicken drumsticks
- Oil for brushing
- Salt to sprinkle on the drumsticks
Ingredients for marinade:
- 2 Teaspoons Black Pepper Powder
- 2 Teaspoons Red chili powder
- 1 Tablespoon Grated Garlic
- 1 Teaspoon Dry Basil leaves
- Juice from 1/2 Lime
Wash chicken drumsticks and pat them dry.
Make dashes with knife so that marinade nicely goes inside.
Brush them with olive oil and apply salt.
Keep for 5 minutes.
Now mix all the ingredients mentioned for marinade and apply to chicken.
Keep them for marination at least for an hour or preferably overnight.
Arrange them on the baking rack lined with silver oil and bake at 350 degree Fahrenheit preheated oven for 30 minutes.
Remove and serve these juicy drumsticks as an appetizer.
