India is a country of festivals and when we talk about festivals, Sweets and snacks is the first thing that comes to our mind. So,now since Ganesh Chaturthi and lot of other Indian festivals are coming closer thought of making a round up of recipes of Indian sweets from different regions in India. I spent 2 weeks backpacking through Northern India back in 2013 but was not there during festival time so never got to try all these delicious looking festival sweets! Will have to come back!
gulab jamun is my all time favorite Indian dessert. I teach it whenever I do Indian food in my classes and my students always love it!
