Coconut Meva Ladoo / Coconut Dry Fruit Sweet
India is famous for the festivals  and sweet is a must to celebrate any festival. Now is that ‘”Ganesh Chaturthi” ,  a Hindu festival is coming up to celebrate in honour of the God Ganesha, the elephant-headed, remover of obstacles and the God of beginnings and wisdom, people started making sweets. Variety of sweets are made during this festival, but the main sweet which lord Ganesha like is  “Modak” , somewhat like ladoo but shaped in different way . Lord  Ganesha also loves ladoo and there are variety of ladoos prepared during the festivity like  Besan Ladoo, Rava Ladoo, Nariyal Ladoo(Coconut Ladoo), Motichur Ladoo, Boondi Ladoo. Today Let’s see how to make coconut meva ladoo. The recipe is very simple and basic with minimum ingredients.

Ingredients:
- 2 Cups dry(250 Grams)dedicated coconut
- 1 Cup (236 Milliliter) Milk
- 3/4 Cup(150 Grams) Powdered white sugar
- 1Â Teaspoon cardamom powder
- 1/2 Cup(100 Grams) Dry Fruit Powder(Grind in the blender using dry fruits of your choice)
- 1 Teaspoon of Ghee /Clarified Butter
- Golden raisins for garnishing
Method:
Heat ghee  on medium heat , when it melts, add coconut, milk and sugar. Keep stiring until the milk is absorbed. Cook on medium high heat till the mixture becomes dry and the moisture evaporates. This will take around 10-15 minutes.
Add Dry Fruit powder, and cardamom. Cook again for 15 minutes.
Take it out on a plate greased with ghee.
Let it cool down for some time.
When the mixture is still warm, start making ladoo by taking tennis ball size ball out of this mixture at a time.
Decorate with golden raisins.
When they cool completely, store in air tight container and refrigerate.
They will last for about 7-10 Days in refrigerator.
