Filo or Phyllo Dough Cups / Phyllo Shells

Filo or Phyllo is a kind of very thin unleavened dough(no leavening agent like yeast is used) normally used for making different kinds of pastries in Middle Eastern Cuisines like Baklava. Filo Pastries are many layered sheets , each sheet is brushed with melted  butter and then they are baked.
You can make different appetizers using phyllo cups. These cups and be prepared and stored in the airtight container. Whenever you feel like making a snack, you can use these filo cups.  You can absolutely fill these crunchy phyllo cups with anything. Even the fruits and vegetables. I had some leftover chicken salad which I used to fill up these cups.
Serving : 6 Cups
Ingredients:
- 1/4 th of Filo or Phyllo Dough.( You get it in the grocery stores).
- Butter for greasing
Method:
Take about 1/4th of Filo Dough sheets. Cut the Filo sheets into rectangular shapes. Take 3-4 layers and press them into the cup of the muffin try .
Apply little butter.
Again take a few layers and press them in the cup of muffin tray.
Butter it. This way press up in all the cups of the muffin tray.
Bake them in the 375 degree Fahrenheit preheated oven for about 10 minutes.
Remove and fill up with the desired filling. Serve.
