Oats Energy Bar
Best way to start your morning schedule is by having a bowl of freshly cooked oatmeal. But if you are also concerned about the taste, then go for Oats Energy Bar with excellent taste and no compromise on nutrition because oats are excellent source of fiber and keeps you energetic.Â
So I have this tried and tested recipe of oats energy bar.
There are variety of nutrition bars available in the market but I always wonder what if we prepare it at home and even kids would love to eat oat. There are variety of energy bar recipes available but I have this healthy one with healthy ingredients.
So lets start preparing our healthy oats energy bar.
Ingredients:
- 1 and 1/2 Cup(354 Grams) of Rolled Oats
- Handful of Almonds, and raisins
- 1 Cup (237 Grams) Choco chips
- 1/2 Cup(125Â Milliliter) of Honey
- 1/4 Cup butter
- 1 Tablespoon milk
- Chocolate syrup (optional)
Method:
Mix milk in Choco chips in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave on high heat for 2 minutes.
Remove out, add 2 tablespoons of butter , mix and microwave again for 2 minutes.
Choco chips should melt completely. Mix and keep aside.
On a skillet, Dry roast rolled oats on medium high heat for about 2 minutes. Remove on a plate and keep aside until cooled completely.
On the same skillet, add honey and cook on low heat until it bubbles.
Add Dry fruits and oats, mix and cook for a minute on medium heat.
Grease  a cake pan of size 20 cm x 10 cm x 6 cm using little oil.
Add half of the oats mixture into this pan evenly.
Now top it up with chocolate mixture.
Pour the remaining oats mix on top .
Grease your palm with oil and gently press this mixture.
Keep for cooling outside .
When it comes to room temperature, keep in refrigerator for at leat 30 minutes or until it hardens.
Remove outside, Cut with a sharp knife.
Drizzle some chocolate syrup on top.
Keep in the freezer for 10 minutes or until chocolate syrup dries up.
Remove out and enjoy your healthy nutrition bar or oats dessert.
