Rice krispies : Plain and Dry Fruit Chocolate
Rice krispies treat is one of my son’s favorite snack and it is very simple and easy to prepare. Not much ingredients are required for it. Just some rice krispies cereals, some marshmallows and butter. Here I have prepared original rice krispies treats along with the healthy version of them with some ground dry fruits mixed with chocolate chips. So let’s see how to make these easy peasy treats within very less time.
Ingredients for plain Krispies:
- Â 2 tablespoons butter
- Â 2 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
- Â 3 cups Rice Krispies cereals
Ingredients for Choco walnut Krispies:
- Â 2 tablespoons butter
- Â 2 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
- Â 2 cup Rice Krispies cereals
- Â 1 Cup chocolate chips
- Â 1 cup walnuts
Method for plain Krispies:
In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth.
Take Krispies in a big bowl and add this melted marshmallows in it and mix well with spatula.
In a greased rectangular cake pan pour this in and press gently using hand.
Refrigerate for 10 minutes .
Remove out, invert on a plate and cut into small rectangular pieces.
Method for Choco Walnut Krispies:
In microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth.
Grind walnuts along with choco chips in the grinder.
Take Krispies and walnut and choco chips powder in a big bowl and add the melted marshmallows in it and mix well with spatula.
In a greased rectangular cake pan pour this in and press gently using hand.
Refrigerate for 10 minutes .
Remove out, invert on a plate and cut into small rectangular pieces.
