Eggless Cumin Cookies / Jeera Biscuit Recipe
Jeera biscuit are best teatime sweet and salty snack which are completely eggless and takes very less efforts.
I always look for easy option to any food recipe I make which should be healthy and tasty too. Few days back I took cookie making class and got really inspired by the various techniques used in making cookies. My mentor was really amazing and learnt a lot new things from her. Mainly for making any cookies or biscuits never to use butter. Instead use ‘Marvo’. This is a shortening used which retains the shape and texture of cookies. This was the main thing I was missing all these years . Most of the time my cookies failed because I used butter. And now, I got the formula and every time my cookies comes in perfect shape without loosing any texture and taste.
Recently I am into baking cookies and bread . You can call me crazy but that has become my new passion now. Will soon be posting bread recipes on my blog.Coming to Jeera biscuits, these have become one of my favorite tea time snack. I have tried out different variations in them. Sometimes I use ‘Ajwain’ (Carrom seeds powder) along with jeera powder or sometimes I make them just sweet and salty cookies without any flavors.
