Red Coconut Chutney , Kerala Style
Kerala style Red coconut chutney is bit spicier version of coconut chutney which is a perfect condiment to go with dosa, uttappam or appam .
Usually I prepare green or white chutney at home because we don’t prefer too hot and spicy food but this morning I was craving for something south Indian, so had prepared my style , healthy rawa appam(Will share the recipe soon) . And wanted spicy condiment to go with them. Had all the ingredients in my kitchen , so grabbed them quickly and prepared this kerala style coconut red chutney.
Normally in Kerala they use shallot type onions which has sweet , mild flavor. But since I had normal ones, used those. You may add shallots if you got them.
