Gosht Dopiaza/Mutton Do Pyaza
Want something hot , spicy and tasty Mutton gravy? Then go for Gosht Dopiaza. Goes with any bread. Gosht means goat meat.
Do Pyaza or Dopiaza is a South-Asian curry dish. In this recipe, large amount of onions are used. The Onions are added at two stages during cooking, hence the name do Pyaza(two onions). Do Pyaza is normally prepared using meat like, beef, lamb, chicken, goat etc. But variation can be made by using vegetables instead of meat
In my recipe, I have used Goat meat, which is slow cooked in a saucepan. Remember while preparing any Goat recipe, the meat should be fresh and tender. If you refrigerate raw meat for long time, it becomes more difficult to cook and doesn’t soften too easily.
Here the goat meat into small pieces ,washed and kept aside. The more you put onions, better is the taste. Also make sure that the onions are browned properly, before going further.
